Very rare Vieta G900 direct drive turntable. 2 speeds 33 & 45rpm controled by quartz. Also variable velocity with pitch and stroboscope light. SME series III tonearm. Shure ML140HE and stylus. It is adjusted to weight and antiskating. The plinth is made of wood and marble. Glossy black lacquer finish. Minor marks on the aluminium plate. The plinth is excellent and also the cover. No deep scratches, dents, shocks or cracks. In general, good cosmetic condition. In excellent working order. This item will be dispatched well packaged with tracking number.

Fitted with an SME 3009 s2 improved tonearm and Shure V15 type III cartridge. The stylus is running a little higher in the body and is quite close to the record, so we have added a modern repro stylus that works great and sits higher.. but the oringal still works and soiunds great. Practically unmarked I have never see a better example of this classic deck. Very little in the way of cosmetic imperfections.. probably the best example on the market. Please inspect the pictures (please also use the zoom function on the photos) and be sure of what you are buying, please don’t buy this if you are at all unsure, I will answer any questions you have, just email BEFORE PURCHASING. Shure/SME's exceptional low mass tonearm with knife-edge bearing. This tonearm was acquired as part of an audiophile collection and has seen little to no use for at least a decade. It is in excellent overall condition. Both a metal double screw traditional finger lift and a minimalist plastic lift are included. Mounting screws specific for cartridge and metal finger lift will need to be sized and obtained by purchaser. Traditional female RCA phono jacks provide for an easy audio cable connection. Cueing is smooth. Effective overall length appears to be approximately 229 mm.

Includes original cables and fluid damping trough, but no damping paddle. A set of damping paddles can be found on this site for $59. This is a low effective mass tonearm at 5 grams with a non-detachable headshell. Perfect for high-compliance cartridges like the Shure V15, AT33PTG, AT OC9 iii, DL-301, Ortofon 2M and others. Tonearm wand and pivot/base will be packed in separate boxes within the shipping box.
