Item Description Made In USA, SHURE MICROPHONE AND ELECTRONIC COMPONENTs This auction is for a 16” SHURE TRANSCRIPTION MODEL M216 PROFESSIONAL STUDIO STEREO REPRODUCER TONEARM. Tonearm was made by SHURE Brothers Incorporated in USA. The model M216 is recommended for studio or professional use and is capable of playing records up to 40 cm (16”) in diameter. Considering the fact that the tonearm is over 60 years old, it can be considered to be in EXCELLENT condition. This is seen on some of the pictures provided. All other components are in very good condition without any visible defects. I have never tested this tonearm, but I did test all the individual wires w/ a multimeter. Mounting Distance: 267mm (10 19/32”). This auction includes: SHURE Model M216 16” Tonearm with SHURE M21 Cartridge and SHURE N21 Stylus. Mounted on a special scaffold (see pictures). Left channel inductance = 591 mH , Resistance = 613 Ohm Right channel inductance = 588 mH , Resistance = 613 Ohm Multimeters are NOT included in this auction and are used for testing purposes only.
