For sale is a used vintage Shure M55E Stereo Dynetic Stereo cartridge with a genuine SHURE N55E stylus, in flawless working condition.It comes with original box and plastic case, but the instruction manual is missing.

SHURE M55E MOVING MAGNET PHONO CARTRIDGE COILS MEASURE GOOD IN BOTH CHANNELS STYLUS WILL NEED REPLACING This listing is for a vintage Shure M55E moving magnet phono cartridge. I have been involved in turntable set up and use for 50 years. I have a plethora of vintage phono cartridges that I will be posting on eBay. The stylus is intact with wear, cantilever/suspension working, but IMO it will need replacing. The coils measure good at .630 ohms for left channel and .634 ohms on right channel multimeter set at 2K range. Cosmetically the metal body shows some marks on the side from mounting hardware, the plastic body is ok with signs of handling, no cracks or broken pieces. Condition: Removed from working environment, but has not been tested recently and thus not guaranteed. Stylus needle appears in good shape with a visible point to it that appears unused. Wood box is not for this particular Shure stylus but is instead for the V-15 Type II (see the plaque inside). Cartridge sides show some wear from mounting screw heads.
