Listing is for this unused Shure Hi-Track N91ED record player needle. The needle had been sealed in a small, plastic bag and stapled to the original purchase receipt since 1984. The bag was detached for photos and to withhold the receipt from sale as it contains personal information (although 39 years out of date). The inside of the gold arm has darkened and I cant tell whether this is rust or some form of oxidation or other atmospheric reaction. Unfortunately our favorite vintage electronics are well past their intended lifespans. They fail unexpectedly and original parts are becoming harder to find. For that reason, I offer free return for domestic buyers if you have any issues with the needle. I am a record collector like you and I still use my parents vintage 1967 Magnavox Astro-Sonic cabinet on a regular basis (this needle does not fit my player and I cannot test it). We all know how it goes with vintage players and I will gladly do my best to correct any problems. Thank you!
