The Shure Stylus Tracking Force Gauge Model SFG-2 is a precision instrument designed to accurately measure the stylus force on a turntable cartridge. It comes with instructions. It is in a case, but not the box. For the true audiophile, this would be an important tool. Cosmetically, the gauge appears virtually as new. Returns are accepted within two weeks of receipt of the gauge by the buyer. Returns due to an error in the listing or due to the guage exhibiting a functional problem not disclosed in the listing will be at the expense of the seller. In such cases, please contact the seller prior to requesting a return or a refund in order to receive a prepaid shipping label. Offered is a Shure Duo-Point Alignment Gauge, U.S. Patent 4.490.816. Condition is used - this is clean, face is scratch free. There is a slight bend on the top - see images with blue arrow. The gauge is still flat - see image with level. I did take several images with different angles so you can see. Still fully usable for its purpose. I could not find much info on this. I believe this may be specific to the Shure V15V series cartridge line. I may be wrong so if you know, feel free to let me know. Gauge measures 6 x 2. Shure Duo Point Alignment Gauge, nice if you have the appropriate cartridge and want to insure correct alignment.
