Vintage AUDIO-TECHNICA AT15SS Cartridge Stylus Beryllium Original Box Shibata + A very difficult to find Cartridge and Stylus, with beryllium cantilever—often referred to as unobtainium. The cartridge/stylus I have had, for sometime with the intent of adding it to my perfect tonearm--that doesnt seem to be happening anytime soon, so I never had it set up. With that said--it looks to have been lightly used, at least form the coloration under the cantilever. The stylus looks good from what I can see. But I dont have a stylus microscope, just a photographers loop. I tried to capture the condition of the stylus the best I could--see the final image. The box is essentially new, with minimal wear, and unused tools, mounting bolts , and manual. I bought the box separately. I currently have the AT15SA set up and its a lovely cart/stylus, so I can only imagine what this combo must sound like.Please ask any questions.

The AT12XE is basically the same cartridge as the AT12S, just with a lower grade stylus. The cartridge was “checked” with an Ohmmeter & the results are posted in two of the photos. The readings are close & have a difference of less than 2.5%. The stylus is a used, genuine Audio-Technica ATS-12S. The stylus has a “nude” Shibata tip & the tracking force is 1 ~ 2 grams. It looks to be in very good condition. Also included are two sets of mounting hardware. (Sorry, I am out of washers.) Since the cartridge was “checked” with an Ohmmeter & this combination has been visually checked, there are NO returns or refunds. This item will require an adults’ signature for delivery. The shown mailing cost includes full insurance & a delivery signature. All of the cartridge/stylus combinations I sell are sold AS IS - in working condition.
