You are bidding on a Sherwood Model S5000II tube type stereo amplifier. It is offered for repair. It is fairly clean, appears to be complete and unmodified, but is untested by me. There is some slight corrosion on the top of the chassis, as it has no cover. I received this with no tubes and added the four 7591a and six 12AX7s. Two of the 7591s test good on the Amplitrex, and the other two are usable, but marginal. I did not test the 12AX7s, they came from a group I just discovered that I had gathered about 25 years ago. It does not have the four tube shields, but otherwise is complete. The front panel and controls are nice. It measures 14 by 4 inches at the front panel, and is 12 1/2 inches deep. It is a quality amplifier that deserves to be restored and put to use. (I use an identical amp in my system). Shipping weight is 29 pounds. No shipping to China.
