The Sherwood EQ-200 (S/N 4027862) is a flexible 12-band graphic equalizer that covers a wide range of frequencies that is difficult to match by other brands and models. It allows the control of the most essential frequencies from low bass through the ultra high frequencies. Six bands from 500 Hz and below can be used to reduce low frequency peaks commonly encountered with speaker and room interactions for more uniform bass. Midrange and treble bands can be adjusted either to personal taste or to obtain a much better balanced sound in your particular listening room with your speakers. The equalizer can be plugged into your receiver or amplifiers tape monitor or processor input while its own back panel has a set of tape monitor inputs and outputs to replace the inputs on your amplifier or receiver. This allows you to connect a recorder to the equalizer so that you can either listen to equalized playback or even equalize a source before it is recorded. A 100-watt convenience outlet is also on the back panel. While the top of the unit has visible scratches from component stacking and there are faintly visible short scratches on the sides of the enclosure, the front of the unit is blemish free. All of the EQ200s controls function as they should.

The lights for the right channel do not light up for some reason. But the channel does function just fine. All the sliders have been cleaned and are crackle free.
