Hello vinyl lovers. Im selling the first direct drive turntable I ever bought. From the sales slip I see that was in Feb 1991. I used this turntable for a few years and then I packed it up when I went digital with CDs. It was again used briefly in the early 2000s in my TV room. Despite being fully automatic, I never used the start button and usually picked up the arm at the end of the record. I felt this saved wear and tear on the mechanism. I checked all features before repacking it and everything works as it did in 1991. It may need some fine-tuning adjustments which are explained in the included owners manual.The cartridge is an Audio Technica DR200E. I know little about is as I had used a Grado Green cartridge on it. The AT cartridge sounds fine and is easily replaced with any P-mount cartridge.There are a few small scratches in the dust cover as seen in the pictures. There is also a small crack in the rear right side (see picture).I have packed this the same way I received it to the best of my knowledge. The proud new owner will need to remove a couple of transport screws and attach the counterweight which is all explained in the manual.If you should happen to own a Sherwood amp or received from this era, this model includes the remote-control cable. The interconnect cables are hard wired in and in great shape, as is the power cord.I will cover the box in thick craft paper before shipping to help preserve the original box which is in great shape. When you open the box, you will be greeted with everything as it was in 1991.Why sell this unique vintage turntable you may ask? I have too many turntables and need to clear out some space.

I tested this turn table with a similar needle. This turn table does need a new needle! This needle will play records, but I would not recommend it ! Lots of cool features for a Vintage Sherwood from the 90s!And they all work as they should. Just look at the pictures and see all the buttons! Dont forget to replace the needle!
