The cd player works, sometimes it might take a few seconds more than it should to open any of the cd trays but it does open just be patient. Keep pressing the open Cd button and the tray number. The tape player used to work good, but lately it will stop playing the tape all of the sudden and stuck your cassettes tape. This could be because either it may need a new belt or some fix inside the unit, I don’t have the time or skills to fix this tape issue. You will have to get close and personal to open the unit and fix whatever the issue is. Can be hard to find parts for this model. Sharp XL-MP130 Micro Compact Stereo System (5 Disc CD Changer + Cassette Deck-AM/FM Radio). Comes with two Sharp CP-C401 speakers. Does not include remote or wire antenna. Everything has been tested with speakers and both the CD changer, sound, and radio work very well. The Cassette deck will play, but it unspools the cassette tape as it does.
