This is my Pioneer PD-5010 cd player. It plays cd’s and believe it or not cd’s-r as well. I have has to clean the lens eye once and then it played fine. I would advise having it cleaned professionally and lubed as well due to its age. Cosmetically, I feel for its age is excellent. I did like that the carriage that holds the cd is like a floating one so vibrations are very minimal. I will packaged the unit very well. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Due to its age unit is sold as is.

Plays very well. Looks and sounds great. Only a couple scuffs on the body. A couple mismatched screws that Ill replace before shipping. Would likely benefit from an optical-pickup-cleaning down the road, but thats standard for CD players - I just dont have the cleaning solution/disc on hand. Discs play without issue, regardless. Admirable simplicity in construction and operation. The servo system and stabilizer have a real impact on sound quality. Manufactured at a time when CD players werent the afterthought of consumer electronics. Though it wasnt their highest end model, it was certainly top of the intermediate players. A sturdy and reliable way to enjoy your collection. I should note that the drive takes a moment to initialize when its first turned on. Its just the stabilizer function, but the tray will only pop out for a second if you hit eject immediately after powering up. No manual or remote included. They can be found pretty easily, though.
