Estate item! We also have T9 set listed, these where in a mid century time capsule home , I have no way to test either set, our loss buyers gain, there was no received, just tucked in the back of tv cabinet, It seems all cones are intact, etc, but untested, in used cosmetic condition, also has base blocks that match pictured, but dusty but all pretty good for age! These speakers are well know among audiophiles and a really great pair of monitors. I used them for several years but after some remodeling I have room for full size floor standing speakers. They sounded wonderful with my tube amps/preamps. Outside of that I dont know much about the history other than Dick Sequerra designed a variety of high end audio equipment over the years. I painted them a nice gloss white. Pretty decent job. They had a fairly dated looking cherry veneer finish which can be seen on the undersides which I did not paint.

It can go with their T1/T9 super tweeters (ribbon) and W8 subwoofer to form a full-range system. The speakers are in great working and physical condition. All drivers are in excellent shape and work properly (although there are dusts over the years). The cabinets and grills are all good. Of course, expect some wear and scratches due to use. Please examine the pictures carefully for they are part of description. No manual or any other accessories. I pack well and ship worldwide.
