  • Description

Offered for your consideration is a vintage UTAH OE specification number 512655-3 12 inch Alnico magnet woofer, USA-manufactured in 1965. As I’m sure you know, UTAH was a leading supplier to the domestic speaker industry from the early 1960’s through the late 70’s in addition to making their own speakers.Based on the EIA source/date code on the mounting flange, 328532, this woofer was made by UTAH (328) in the 32nd week of 1965. It was removed from a large SEEBURG DWS2 speaker. So, please have a look at my large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this outstanding UTAH Alnico woofer should be yours. This UTAH woofer is in clean, excellent condition. The sturdy, deep set paper cone is structurally perfect with only some discoloration at center—caused by being mounted behind a protective crossbar on the baffle—and the voice coil dustcap is flawless, as pictured. Plus, the fabric-roll accordion-style surround is permanent textile instead of the fragile foam that was widely used in that era. Also, the steel basket is finished in attractive blue enamel, including the huge bell covering the magnet’s keeper, and its in great shape with no dings, scratches, or rust. And, the negative +/- terminal appears to be SEEBURG-specific female, but can be snipped-down to leave a standard male spade. Overall, this vintage woofer is exceptionally well preserved. Most importantly, it’s been fully tested and sounds very strong with clear, detailed lower midrange, solid low end, and the warm vintage tone that keeps Alnico drivers in such high demand with those that know. And, I tested its DC resistance at 4.7?, consistent with a nominal 8 ohm driver rating. Lastly, the basket measures 12¼” diameter, it stands 6½” tall, and the four mounting holes are spaced 8¼” adjacent (skipping a hole) / 11¾” on the diagonal apart, c-t-c.As pictured and described, this splendid UTAH 12” Alnico magnet woofer is offered at a competitive price. Terms of sale:I encourage interested parties to ask any questions they may have about this listing before committing to purchase. Payment is due at checkout by PayPal or other accepted methods. This is a heavy driver, so U.S. mailing addresses will pay $29.95 for very securely packed shipping via FedEx or UPS with tracking, delivery confirmation, and insurance.AK, HI, PR, APO & U.S. Territories must pay additional charges for U.S. Postal Service Priority Air Mail (even though checkout might still show FedEx Ground, a service not offered to those destinations for obvious reasons). International purchases accepted only from those who are able to pay with PayPal, including shipping by insured U.S Postal Service Global Priority Air Mail—fast but expensive—no exceptions. Thanks for looking! *The woofer will have a piece of sturdy cardboard secured over the cone with wire ties at the four mounting holes. Then it’ll be wrapped with a protective sheet and placed in a sturdy box with shock-absorbent materials. This will ensure the cone, surround, and terminals are fully protected, and that there are no disappointments! *the photo directly above is presented only for donor model reference

Offered for your consideration is one (1) vintage SEEBURG grille emblem removed from my DWS2 speakers, USA-manufactured c.1965. It may also be correct for the even larger DDS1, or other period SEEBURG speakers, but buyer is ultimately responsible for verifying that. So, please have a look at my large photos, the measurements, and read the remaining description to decide if this hard-to-find SEEBURG grille emblem should be yours. This SEEBURG grille emblem is in clean, very good condition. This emblem is crafted from chromed metal alloy and measures 6?” wide by just over ¾” tall. Plus, the SEEBURG decal is also well preserved but is coming loose at some edge points. And, both mount studs are solid, but the pictured original nuts are not the correct thread; the wide thread appears to be optimized for speed nuts. Nevertheless, they held the emblem firmly. • Description

You are bidding on a Seeburg Model MRA1-L6 Master Remote tube type mono jukebox amplifier. I believe it was used in the M-100 models from the early 1950s. It is offered for repair, as I have not tested it. It appears to be complete, and all original. It is in restorable condition, and came from the estate of a jukebox repairman. In needs a better cleaning, as I have only wiped it with a damp cloth. It shows rust on one side of the transformers. Apparently it was stored in that upright position, as the tubes were dirty on that side also. The tubes used and included are: a 6SN7GT, a 6SL7GT, a 6J7, four 6V6GT outputs and a 5U4GB rectifier. Under the chassis, there are no signs of tampering except for the replacement on one capacitor, done long ago. So, it appears to be a great candidate for restoration. The input is an RCA jack on the top, and the output to the speaker is thru the plug by the power transformer, or by screw terminals. The amp measures roughly 20 by 9 by 6 inches in size, not counting the mounting flanges. It is a quality amplifier that should be restored and put to use. Shipping weight is 25 pounds. No shipping to China. Please see my other auctions for more interesting radio and audio items, and tubes.

All 4 tubes were tested on my calibrated Mercury 2000 tube tester. The tube has 4800 micromhos at 100% power according to factory specifications. Each of these tubes has well over 5000 micromhos when measured. Each tube was tested on all parameters on close as well as gas, all fine. Not to be compared with inferior Russian tubes, which do not reach these performance values when new. Also no amplifier modification as with 6CZ5 replacement tubes necessary. I think stronger 6973 power amp tubes will be hard to find. Only with good tubes the amps will sound good again. shipping worldwide This part ist located in germany but I can ship this one worldwide. I have enough experiences with international shipping. Please contact me for your personal shipping quote. Please have a look at my ebay feedback! Thanks for watching!

The metal has no dings or scratches, just some light edge pitting and finish flaking on the underside as pictured. Plus, the SEEBURG decal is also well preserved but is coming loose at some edge points. And, both mount studs are solid, but the pictured original nuts are not the correct thread; the wide thread appears to be optimized for speed nuts. Nevertheless, they held the emblem firmly. Overall, this grille emblem is very nicely preserved. As pictured and described, this SEEBURG speaker grille emblem is offered at a competitive price. • Description

Bought this Seeburg 625-3 vintage tube amplifier as a project, but dont have time to work on it. The amplifier will require a full restoration prior to use. Un-tested but transformers and chokes are guaranteed good. The paint on the exterior is quite dirty/stained and is flaking somewhat, but the paint underneath the chassis is in good condition. It does have a power supply choke, so no field coil speaker required. The red paint around the lettering is bright and looks great. This amplifier runs a Type 76, a 6J5, two 6L6Gs, a Type 80, and a 5Z3. The Type 76 is the first amplification stage and the 6J5 is the driver tube. The 6J5 is coupled to the 6L6Gs using an inter-stage phase splitter transformer. This is a cool topology sure to have a great vintage tube sound. NO TUBES INCLUDED. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. NO RETURNS due to for parts condition. Look carefully at the images and ask for additional if you need them. This is a somewhat complex amplifier and I would recommend you only purchase if you are experienced with tube amplifiers or have a tech who will work on it. Local pickup in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
