I have available for sale my Schiit Vidar Amplifier. They are in the Silver color and is common with Schiit silver finishes it might not exactly match other Schiit equipment. Both Amp is 115V with the north American plugs installed. I ran these in a dual mono setup using the XLR inputs from a Freya+ to drive a pair of vintage Pioneer HPM-100s. The amps could drive the Pioneers easily (I usually listen 80-85dB) and had plenty of reserve power to rock the occasional demo. A single Vidar can also drive a nice bookshelf like an Elac Debut 2.0 B6.2 which has sensitivity of 87 dB 2.83V/1M and 6 Ohm load. The single Vidar drove the Elacs easily and I never reached the point of audible distortion. Im only selling these amps because I changed to a high efficiency speaker (Klipsch Forte III) and moved to an all tube preamp and dual mono tube amps setup. The Vidars did well with the Klipsch but with so much headroom available an accidental twist of the volume knob could cause thunderous volume levels Ive been on my tube setup over a year now and have only turned the Vidars on the test they are still working.
