Das Schaub Lorenz Music-Center 5001 ist ein Rundfunkgerät mit Tonband (126 Spuren) und einer Kompatibilität mit der Produktlinie Music-Center. Hergestellt in Jahren 1965-1968 in Deutschland am Standort in Rastatt, war es zu diesem Zeitpunkt eine technische Meisterleistung. Das 4 Zoll Band mit 126 Tonspuren mit je ca. 22 Minunten Spielzeit war vor allem im Hotel- und Gastrogewerbe sehr beliebt. Das Gerät ist reparaturbedürftig, die Netzteile mit der Spannungsversorgung sind auf jeden Fall defekt. Das 4-Zoll Band ist in Ordnung, ebenso die aufwändige Mechanik des Tonbandteils. Diese Teile können als Ersatzteile verwendet werden, wenn das Gerät nicht repariert wird. Adapter für Plattenspieleranschluss, Original-Bedienungsanleitung und das Original_Programmheft für das Tonbandteil zum Eintragen der aufgenommenen Musikstücke ist dabei.

It is in great condition. Its working but could be improved with a good service as the switches are noisy etc. Small chip to plastic (see pic), also the aerial socket is a little loose, and the AM tuning is stuck. Grab a super rare piece, great summer project.....Happy bidding. Collection preferred as its super heavy, but could pack (at cost) if you wanted to arrange shiply or another courier.
