ScanSpeak Revelator 18W8531G00 Audiophile 7 inch Mid Woofer 8 ohm This is a fantastic sounding speaker featuring ScanSpeaks outstanding quality and excellent sound - used in many top-of-the-line name brand audiophile speakers. Made in Denmark Works extremely well in both sealed and vented bass-reflex enclosures - F3 of about 55Hz sealed and can get down to 33Hz vented. 7 Revelator mid/woofer features a non-resonant cone and dust cap structure, dynamic linear suspension, SD-1 magnet system, Grasshopper cast chassis with maximized air flow and resonance terminating mounting system. Less resonance in all structures, lower compression and higher linearity, faster termination of excess energy and higher sound pressure capability.

For sale a pair of large standmounts built according to schematics of the original Scan Speak Reference Monitor. The drivers are Scan Speak 18w8546-01 with black Kevlar cone, not available anymore, and the famous D2905/9900 Revelator tweeter. Both drivers should be considered as NOS, as they havent been used for the last 12 years. The cabinets are veneered (not sure what the correct name of the veneer is), fronts are 36mm thick, the quality crossover is fitted in a separate chamber, bass-reflex tubes are made from aluminum. Very heavy, around 15kg each. Internal wiring is from Kimber Kable. They come with the light brown man-made leather covers/sleeves to protect them from fading or a bad touch.
