This auction is for a pair of Scan Speak D3808 dome tweeters. The voicecoil is 38mm, around 1.5, 8 ohms, the cutout in the baffle 62mm approx (plus two holes for the connections). Face plate is 105mm in diameter. Some rusting to the grills as shown in the photos but the domes underneith are clean. Supplied with speaker cable so that no more soldering is required, I have tested them via an active crossover and amplifier. The black line on the cable indicates the negative terminal. Power rating of the donor loudspeakers was 60 watts program. These tweeters were removed from a pair of Highgate Acoustics Alpha HT-60 loudspeakers with water damaged cabinets. The mid-range units from them were sold on eBay last year. Made in Denmark for Highgate, a similar model was also made for Rank HiFi, the Arena HT-660/2.
