Description
A total of 55 vintage resistors which have been held in safe storage by my family for many years. All appear in good condition, though as they are untested recently I am selling as is. All the photographs are my own of the actual resistors (not stock photos). Vintage ceramic wire wound resistors; 23 off Manufactured by Painton, England. All 23 are ceramic with turquoise glaze. 1, Painton, 4.7 ?, 5%, type 306 A, 1-Z-F 2, Painton, 10 ?, 5%, type 306 A, 4-X-F 3, Painton, 100 ?, 5%, type 306 A, 1-X-A 4, Painton, 100 ?, 5% 5, Painton, 100 ?, 5% 6, Painton, 320 ? 7, Painton, 500 ?, 5 %, type 301 A, 2-N-H 8, Painton, 500 ?, 5 %, type 301 A, 3-N-F 9, Painton, 1 k?, 5 %, type 306 A, 3-M-G 10, Painton, 1 k?, 5 %, type 306 A, PCL2.I.D. 11, Painton, 1 k?, 5 %, type 306 A, PC [?] QF 12, Painton, 2 k?, 5 % 13, Painton, 2.2 k?, 5 %, type 306 A, 4.W.H 14, as per 13 15, Painton, 3 k?, 5 %, type 306 A, 2.M.M. 16, as per 15 The remaining 7 are uninscribed or illegible. 6 of them seem to be of the above type 306 A, while the last, and smallest, one is inscribed but illegible to my eye; it measures approx 12 mm in length. Vintage ceramic wire wound resistors; 9 off 8 of these are manufactured by Painton, England. The ninth is a very similar resistor of uncertain manufacturer, possibly Painton or Welwyn. All 9 are ceramic with lotus green glaze. 1, Painton, 2.5 K?, 5%, 4 M.B., type 302 2, Painton, 500 ?, 5%, 2 M.B., type 301 3 & 4 & 5, Painton, 1.5 k?, 5%, type 305, 4.L.D. 6 & 7, Painton, 500 ?, 5%, type 306, 3.K.H. 8, Painton, 1 k?, type 306, 3.K.B. 9, of uncertain manufacturer but similar to the above, 20000 ~ ± 5% Vintage resistors; 6 off 1, green glaze ceramic, Welwyn, 3 k?, ± 5%, 1.B, has traces of solder on the leads. 2, green glaze ceramic, Welwyn, the remaining inscriptions, in white, are illegible. 3, flesh coloured, Welwyn, SA3623, 220000 ?, 5%. One terminal lead is very short. 4, flesh coloured, SA3623, 4.1 M?, 10 V. One terminal lead is very short & obscured with solder. Although it is not inscribed as Welwyn it is identical to 3, above. 5, green glaze ceramic, of a marginally darker green hue than 1, and 2, above. Bears an inscription in white which i guess reads 20,000 ?, or possibly k?, but i am listing it as unknown as it is hard to read. It looks similar to those manufactured by Welwyn, or possibly Painton, and appears in excellent condition. 6, Welwyn PanClimatic, C23, 220k?, 5% NF. Black body, inscribed in white, with a single red or brown or orange (?) ring at one end; the colour is hard to tell. Vintage resistors by SATOR of Austria; 4 off 2 x 150 ?, with the additional inscriptions 5 & 36 1 x 200 ?, with additional inscriptions 5 & 33 1 x 500 ?, with additional inscriptions 5 & 35 Vintage resistors with tolerance of 1%; 7 off Made in Germany All seven resistors are inscribed with a tolerance of 1%. 3.3 K?, 1%, 2 110K?, ±1%, Germany 5 x 15 K?, 1%, ½ W Three of the 15 K? ones are marked 2 DIN, and two with 2. Length (not including the wire leads) is approx 28 mm. There are traces of solder on a few of the leads. Vintage Carbon-body resistor; 1 off Inscribed 15 K?, ½ W, 1%, 2 DIN T1 It is a dull, dark green colour. I package securely in mainly recycled material and always post my items personally, from a smoke free home. I will only post these to a UK address via a carrier of my choice. If you choose to purchase more than one of my items, please wait until I am able to send you an invoice before making payment. You may pay in cash should you wish to collect in person in West Kilbride. Thanks for looking.
