Betamax ist der Markenname eines von Sony in den siebziger Jahren entwickelten Halbzoll-Magnetbandsystems zur Aufzeichnung von analogen Video- und Audiosignalen. Es ist ein großer und sehr schwerer Recorder. Der Rekorder ist rein äußerlich (Gehäuse) in einem für sein alter (ca. 44/48) Jahre) schönen man möchte sagen (meine Meinung) Wohnzimmer tauglichen Zustand. Der Elektrische und Mechanische Teil scheint komplett und unverbastelt zu sein. Dieses und den äußeren Zustand des Recorders kann man auf den dem Angebot beigefügten Bildern sehen. Dieser Videorecorder dürfte ca. Mitte bis Ende der 1970er Jahre für den Heimgebrauch hergestellt worden sein.
