A good-looking surviving example of this suitcase-style fully portable stereo centre that comes from the large collections of an elderly local man with a lifetime’s enthusiasm for radios, recorders and other sound-related classic equipment. I hope it will find its into the hands of an enthusiast of vintage stereo who cant test it and hopefully get it working again for the first time in decades. The cosmetic condition is really good - the unit shows a little general wear but no deep scratches, cracks, missing or damaged parts. All knobs, switches and controls are secure and free-moving. The tape door has no cracks and the tape controls buttons are good. The FM aerial is intact. The whole unit is very clean, free of corrosion and dirt build-up and still good-looking inside and out. I have decided not to invest in the six 1.5v batteries needed to power the machine, preferring to leave it as-found for a new owner to test properly - there is a possibility of some mechanical fault. Vintage Sanyo G 2311kl Suitcase Sound Ststem Record Cassette Player Radio Very nice portable system. No power cable included, but I imagine it functions off a standard 2 pin power cable. It fits, but I have not tried. Otherwise works off 6 D batteries, which work very well. All systems work fine. Stylus could probably use replacing. Overall good condition with signs of use and age. Very Rare system.
