You are looking at a listing for a Sanyo FWDV225F DVD Player / VCR combination unit. It is sold in NOT WORKING condition. The unit is in good physical shape except for some scratches on the front, but the VCR has excessive noise in SLP/EP and LP modes (See listing photos 10 and 11, respectively). SP mode seems to be okay (see picture 12), but the tape sometimes sounds like it is crinkling during operation. The VCR a couple of times during testing has failed to load tapes and shut off. I have not seen any damage to my tapes, but Im thinking these VCR issues could be some sort of alignment problem. VHS recording was not tested. The DVD player has no signs of life whatsoever. Switching to DVD mode results in a blank screen. The DVD eject button does not open the door. No repairs have been attempted with the exception of cleaning the VHS heads (no improvement to picture), and checking over briefly inside and outside the unit for any obvious causes of the problems (I did not find any). The box is in okay shape, with some signs of wear... most notably a small gouge on the bottom. Will be shipped in external packaging. The box will remain in pictured condition. DVD player / VCR combo unit + original box only. Remote, users manual, or any other accessories not included. Note: Due to the problems with this unit, it is sold AS-IS and RETURNS NOT ACCEPTED. This item was sealed when I found it in the garage at an estate sale. However, it had been splattered with sticky juice! I ended up peeling off the top layer of the cardboard on top because wiping wasnt working. Because of the questionable storage, I decided to unseal the box and test everything. It works like a dream! No strange noises, no rattles. Picture is great. Unit looks fantastic! Wish I didnt have to unseal it, but I had to for my peace of mind as well as for you not to get a worthless unit. It shows how atrocious the box looks and how pristine the unit looks (ignore the Styrofoam dust handprint that shows on one side pic!) ***I sealed everything back up on its original plastic bags, put the styrofoam back in place and placed it all back in the ugly box.***
