Funai sold a peak of 15 million VCRs per year but by 2015 it diminished to 750,000. The last one rolled out of the factory in 2016 and the one in this listing was made in 2015. Funai also made machines for Magnavox, Emerson, Sylvania, Symphonic, and others. However, its rare to come across any Funai-made combos newer than 2009 as they became increasingly rare. This model is very similar to Magnavox CMWD2206, Magnavox MWD2206, Magnavox DV220MW9, Magnavox DV225MG9, Sylvania DV220SL8, Sylvania DVC840G, Sylvania SVC841G, and others.
