Description
Used Working Sansui SE-8X Graphic Equalizer & Spectrum Annalyzer GREAT SHAPE! Yes, I combine domestic shipping! Please pay attention to the photos because they make up most of the description! Please read the entire listing!!! This listing is for a used, vintage, working Sansui SE-8X Graphic Equalizer & Spectrum Annalyzer. I’m the original owner and I purchased this new in 1984 in Okinawa Japan while I was serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. Condition: This unit is very clean and with the exception of a few scratches on the top surface it is in fantastic shape!!! This unit probably has only about 100 hours on it! I rarely used it and it has always been stored in a safe dry area in a non-smoking animal friendly home. I have recently checked its functions on 7/30/2024 and everything appears to work. The unit still has its original paper warning tag on its cord. It does have minor scrapes, marks, dings, etc, that are typical of a device that is this old. I’m sure that someone out there can enjoy using this. It has a working (tested) 100 watt, unswitched electrical (plug) outlet on the back side. This vintage high-quality device is designed to provide a powerful and clear sound, allowing you to enjoy your favorite music and movies like never before. Its user-friendly operation ensures that you can customize your audio settings with ease. It would be especially helpful when recording and transferring old tapes and records to modern electronic media by allowing you to correct most sound problems. With its advanced features and easy-to-use interface, this device is a must-have for any music lover. The Sansui SE-8X Equalizer will provide you with a powerful and clear sound that will leave you impressed. Please feel free to ask questions. Ill try to answer them the best that I can. Thank you and God bless! SHIPPING: I combine shipping for items sold at the same time with the exception of items that will make the package too large to be mailed in one box. I try not to make a killing on postage and handling and I try to be fair (I have even lost money on postage). I package items very well. I do not take responsibility for damage caused by improper handling and shipping. Fragile items are placed in a bag prior to boxing and/or padding to prevent the chance of small parts coming off during shipping (due to rough handling) and then getting lost in the box or packaging. Foreign Country Shipping: INTERNATIONAL BUYERS WILL HAVE TO USE THE “EBAY GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAM”. THIS IS MAY BE EXPENSIVE AT TIMES. HOW IT WORKS IS I SHIP YOUR PURCHASE TO THE EBAY GLOBAL CENTER ADDRESS THAT EBAY PROVIDES ME AND THEN EBAY SHIPS TO YOUR COUNTRY. I CANNOT SEND INVOICES WITH COMBINED SHIPPING OR ANY EBAY GUIDED OPTIONS. EBAY HANDLES ALL OF THIS. So, all international orders have to be shipped separately and cannot be combined!! Please remember to be aware of any added taxes or customs charges you may have to pay in your own country. Also, as stated in my listings, you are responsible for paying the postage for any returns and Im not responsible for any damage due to the extensive shipping and travel time!! Items damaged due to shipping will not be an excuse to return them! Items can only be returned if you can prove that they were not as listed. Sorry to be so legalistic, but I’ve been burned a few times. PHOTOS: I try to provide good photos of all my items so you can have a very good view of what you are purchasing. Note: Sometimes I’ll place a ruler or a familiar item, like a dollar bill, in the photos. These are placed there for scale only (they are not included with the purchase). Returns: Items have a 30-day money back guarantee, (from the day you receive them). Items must be returned in the exact same condition as they were sent, or they will not be accepted as a return. Any item that was in original “factory sealed”, shrink-wrap can only be returned if shrink-wrap has not been removed or the factory seal(s) have not been broken! All our items are sent to you well packaged and should be returned in the same manner. (Especially fragile items or items containing small parts). Return postage will be your responsibility, unless you have first made arrangements with me. Artwork or items sold “as is” cannot be returned unless you can show me they were not described properly. (Duplication of our artwork is not permitted without written, signed permission from the artist)! Remember, used items are just that, used items (I don’t sell abused items unless they are being sold and listed for restoration, or as parts). I do my best to describe the conditions of my items in an honest manner. I don’t take responsibility for consequential damage, so I advise that you check your items soon after receiving them. My goal is happy customers so dont hesitate to communicate with me! I’m glad to answer questions. I hope you enjoy bidding on our Items. Thank you and God Bless! Daniel HedgesOn Aug-09-24 at 06:53:49 PDT, seller added the following information: 8/9/2024 I had a buyer ask me where the voltage conversion switch was located on this device. The graphics on the back of the device shows a range of voltage from 120 to 240. Ive owned a lot of audio equipment and all of them that listed this capability had a switch that you turned with a flathead screw driver to change the voltage setting. The switches were always on the back, bottom or inside. I assumed this equalizer had one on the inside like my others, but based on their question I just now opened the top of it and there is no switch visible inside the unit!!! I’m stunned! Therefore I’m forced to say this unit must be 120 volts only! I see there is a round sticker on the back that says 120V. I assumed that since it was just a sticker, it must just be stating that the unit was currently set on 120V. So I’m sad to say this unit is 120 volts only. I just now was made aware of this. Sorry for any inconvenience. God bless! Dan
