I hooked it up to my receiver and it works perfectly. I only tested the playing function and not the recording function as I dont have anything I could record with onto it, but I dont have any reason that suggests that it doesnt record. Due to it being untested for recording the listing is as is but everything that I did actually test works perfectly. The top is scratched

The cardboard box shows wear, has 2 small tears, some writing on it but the box is intact. The plastic case is in Excellent condition. The insert card is for “special offers” from Shure. (Shure cartridge not included.) 2) Original Shure Needle Guard for the needle that went with the V-15 cartridge. Guard is labeled “Super Track Plus”. 3) Pfanstiehl 4764-DE replacement needle for use with the V-15 Type III cartridge. The cantilever arm looks to be in its proper position. The needle tip itself looks good as best as can be viewed with a magnifying glass. The needle guard is present. Included is the info card for this needle. 4) Sansui SC-32 Phono Cartridge with broken needle 5) Shure M75ECS Phono Cartridge with a Shure 75EC needle. The cantilever arm looks to be in its proper position. The needle tip itself looks good as best as can be viewed with a magnifying glass. Includes a couple of RCA cables to get you started. Cleaning. Exterior surfaces have been cleaned, but nothing was disassembled. It appears to have spent it’s life in a clean home (not a shed or garage) and the dust was consistent with being about forty years old. Testing, both cassette units sound right to me. Speaker outputs sound good to me. There was a little noise when turning the master control. Turning the dial back and forth a few times reduced it noticeably. It might go away with use. It might go away with Deoxit. Or it might not. Please don’t buy if this will be a problem for you. I don’t want you to be disappointed. Like I said it sounds right to my ears and these are quality components. The cassette deck weighs in at 7 lbs 11 oz. The amplifier at 11 lbs 8 oz. Despite their compact size.
