Left speakers no sound A whole lot of static in right speakers . Needs work Please see pics .

I picked this up used. I had a friend of mine test it for me. He said both channels work. But, there is some static and crackling as you turn the knobs on the front. It doesnt do this when the knobs are not being turned. He said the pods needed to be cleaned. The lights come on. Please also note one of the eight little wire inputs on the back is a little loose (see photo). We got signal when we were tuned to AM. We didnt hear any sound when it was in FM mode. My friend said FM probably worked. But, we just couldnt get any signal where we were at (no returns is you cant get signal in FM mode). There is also some cosmetic wear in places. Vintage Sansui 800 Stereo Receiver This receiver has been powered on and each channel has been tested for basic sound output.The controls have been cleaned with Deoxit. All bulbs have been upgraded to LEDs (other than the tuning dial lamp which is original). The receiver shows very minor physical wear from use, but is overall in excellent condition for its age.Overall it is very clean, any discoloration on the face and knobs can easily be washed off, but it is very clean and looks practically new. The wooden case has some minor wear (small dent on the front corner, some very minor scuffs, etc, regular wear--SEE PHOTOS) but is overall very clean and in great condition.
