You are getting a high quality audiophile turntable. This is a Sansui P-L50 linear fully-automatic turntable. Cosmetically the turntable is in extremely clean condition. I made a video for you to see showing the basic operations. The turntables automatic return is working. The auto-start is working. The stop function is working and the tonearm cueing up/down is working. The manual forward and return buttons are also working. The Compu/edit function is working but depending upon the sensitivity switch position you choose It may not read the proper chosen song. I found that it works well on a record with a decent space between songs. I tried it with a record with very tight spacing between songs and it sometimes went to the wrong song. The sensivity position you choose will make a difference as well as the record you play in how well the song selector positioning works. Even though the turntable is working I highly advise the winner of this auction to get the interior gears lubricated and oiled. This is a vintage turntable made in 1990 and it has been in storage for many years not being used.The highly detailed auction photos will show you the condition of the turntable and act as the auction description of it. This is a super rare, Sansui p-l41 turntable which uses linear tracking The turntable powers on but it has trouble with running functions properly. I replaced the belt on the tonearm and it moves left and right but I cannot get the arm to lower into playing position. I just don’t know enough about this unit to break it down and diagnose the problem. Would be a great restoration or project piece - can even be a great donor table Sold as is - somewhat functional - buyer pays shipping

SANSUI P-L95R Auto Reverse PHONO Record Player! Semi working READ The A side does not play (maybe just a needle issue?) The B side plays! The drawer opens slow and can here the belt squeaking. So in need of a new and proper size belt. The belt can be replaced by removing the top cover and using a pair of needle nose pliers to remove and replace the belt. Pretty easy. The condition is very nice. Has a few scratches here and there but nice and clean. The lower front trim plate has a broken tab so doesnt snap in correctly. but cant notice really. There is a bit of plastic missing (see pictures). I hate having to sell this rare unit as a Part-Only piece as its mostly working and just needs a little TLC. You dont see these often; ...and I strongly considered keeping it as its so unusual. But decided I dont need another turntable ans another project. I prefer totally manual tables anyways. So that being said this is a Parts-Only, AS-IS, No Returns, No Refunds! As with all Part-Only units on eBay; ...there could be one defect/issue or many. Thats why its called Parts-Only. Dust cover has no hinges and has damage in the hinge area.It does work for the most part .Has new stylus and belts.It does play and sounds great . Some of the automatic features work and other times they do not.If your not willing or able to do some repairs to this it might not be the one for you.I am selling it as is for parts or repair ,No guarantee of any kind .I am sure if you are familiar with these it is a simple fix.But again this is for parts or repair.
