SANSUI D-550M Stereo Cassette Deck. Excellent, Minty Cosmetic Condition considering its age. Tested basic functions, recording & playback. However, was unable to get it to rewind with tape inserted. But, if you depress the tab in the tape compartment, the rewind wheel moves. Since the rewind is not functioning properly, SELLING AS-IS for PARTS, NOT WORKING. This was an estate find and the family stated that the deck hasn’t been used in years. When I started testing, the motor seemed sluggish at first and after playing a tape from start to finish seemed to work better. FF ok but not rewind. For the technical minded, it may be an easy fix. Inside, the tape heads, capstan, and pinch roller look clean & smooth. Hope this helps. In full working order apart from the rewind struggles towards the end of the cassette. Comes with original manual. Some marks to case as seen in photo but not bad considering its age. Prefer cash on collection but can package up and prepare for a courier collection if buyer wants to arrange one.
