Tray does not open. Sold as-is for parts/repair

NICE! ... Since when does a CD player weigh NINE-pounds?? This one does. Sansui CD-V1000 CD Player - Works perfectly A nice solidly built CD player. Not much to say: Youll love it! When I first got this player, the tray would not open. I went in and replaced that belt (and added a haze of white lithium grease to the tray mechanism) and now this CD player works perfectly. SEE THE PHOTOS: THAT is the unit that you are buying. There are some gentle scuffs on the top surface of the cabinet. Because this is a collectible unit, I did nothing to that surface... so that YOU can take care of it your way.... If it were mine, I might rub in a little olive oil or a plastic rejuvenator spray to diminish those scuffs, but that will probably add some gloss.
