Fully serviced, and partly recapped, so the big electrolytes are safe from black flag caps turning bad after 45 years. The big electrolytes are still well within specs. They differ by 20%. 30% is allowed. They should be able to hold up for the next 10 years or so. Sadly, I forgot to have the diode in Phono 2 replaced. The amplifier is a 100% functional, powerful and it sounds excellent, with the sweet Sansui sound.

A couple of days ago i go pick it up at my tech guy after he inspected the amp ,everything was fine after more then 40 years. So i come home and put my speakers on the au -717 to test and i am shocked how good this amp is! This thing is a beast and the overal sound quality is superb! Its so nice to listen to and no fatigue even after hours of listening. I also pick up my Au-517 and its also fine amp but the au 717 is something else. I also had a Sansui au d11 butt this au 717 is much better in every way. If you can buy one in good state do it! This Sansui is a keeper and its staying with me till im to old to listen to music. I can not believe i had this diamond and did not even realize it. That 70s gear is awesome! Detail, bass, finesse, air, power, build quality!

Sansui AU-710 integrated amplifier. From what Ive read the 710 was sold in military exchanges and overseas, and is the same as the 717. Rated 85 watts per channel. This unit is in good cosmetic condition, has a few scuffs and there is some tape residue on the back. Download the brochure on the HiFiEngine webite. Weak sound from one channel and little or none from the other. Sold as is for parts or restoration, with no returns offered. Sorry, its too heavy to be shipping back and forth, so be sure you understand it needs work before its usable. Ships only to mainland lower 48 US, no PO boxes.
