Selling a extremely rare vintage 1978 Sansui 890db Stereo Receiver in its original found condition. Estate Find. The estate was filled with high quality electronics and unique collectibles. Hard to find black European model.The receiver powers on and works but will require maintenance and/or servicing for optimal performance. I tested the receiver and found the volume to be very low with static when turning the dial (see video). I could hear music on both channels. The pots should be cleaned with Deoxit electrical cleaning fluid and may improve the sound quality. The power meters move slightly and the left channel lamp is burnt out and will require replacement. There may be other lamps out but I did not notice any others. The wood cabinet does have some scratches and marks. The metal ventilation grille is not original and has been replaced. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you will receive. I did not clean or polish and will clean up nicely, if desired.
