This amplifier I did a video showing the db on the meter, the volume works fine. The amp was playing a JBL 4430 and playing with it, 120 watts and a Darlington amplifier, they sound superb, warm, detail, silky, awesome mid, and silk highs, very detail. You are buying a beautiful SAE Mark IIICM, 200 watts Bonjorno amp. As you see is worth restoring and recap to its glory because is beautiful in shape and this sound fantastic once recap and can drive any speakers. Left channel works, right works, when warms up distorts, you can hear it, caps caps. I live this to next owner to bring to as new. well worth it because is beautiful, when you get you get sense of something close to as was first out of the box, like I said once recap it will sound with silk highs and detal and warm mid but real and the bass is dee with layers of information, how do i know this I own other Bonjorno pieces and that is how it sounds. High bidder will own cientific Audio Electronics, began in 1968 with a partnership agreement between Ted Winchester, Morris Kessler and Beth Winchester. With some creative graphics done on a Bishop PC Board they divised the S.A.E. logo and they were off and running. The company 1st brought to market the legendary S.A.E. Mark Two power amplifier that dispite its rather utilitarian appearance, won many fans including a certain Gordon Holt of Sterophile Magazine. In a sea of Marantz, Pioneer and Sansui, the Mark Two stood out. It didnt have the transistor sound commonly associated with these other brands. Its was different, special and otherworldly in a totally unique way.Fast forward to 1975 and the S.A.E. Mark One preamp.
