VINTAGE SAE MARK 1 STEREO PREAMPLIFIER EQUALIZER. This one is tested and working. I will be well packaged and insured. High bidder will own cientific Audio Electronics, began in 1968 with a partnership agreement between Ted Winchester, Morris Kessler and Beth Winchester. With some creative graphics done on a Bishop PC Board they divised the S.A.E. logo and they were off and running. The company 1st brought to market the legendary S.A.E. Mark Two power amplifier that dispite its rather utilitarian appearance, won many fans including a certain Gordon Holt of Sterophile Magazine. In a sea of Marantz, Pioneer and Sansui, the Mark Two stood out. It didnt have the transistor sound commonly associated with these other brands. Its was different, special and otherworldly in a totally unique way.Fast forward to 1975 and the S.A.E. Mark One preamp. With its step attenuator, discreat capacitor array, separate 2 channel EQ settings, output gain selectors & input for (2) turntables, the Mark One became the preamp of choice for the well heeled 70s audiophile set.

SAE 2800 RACK MOUNT PARABOLIC EQUALIZER. UNIT IS IN TERRIFIC SHAPE. COSMETICALLY ITS AN 8+. ALL SLIDERS ARE STRAIGHT AND OPERATE SMOOTHLY. EQUALIZER TURNS ON BUT I HAVEN’T HAD THIS UNIT IN MY SYSTEM IN QUITE SOME TIME. IT WORKED PERFECTLY WHEN LAST USED. THIS IS THE LARGER PARAMETRIC EQUALIZER SAE PRODUCED AND SEEMS TO BE SOMEWHAT RARE. VINTAGE SAE MARK 1B STEREO PREAMPLIFIER EQUALIZER Tested Beautiful. Condition is Used. Shipped with FedEx Ground or FedEx Home Delivery.

Beautiful SAE Mark IX preamplifier that works great. The power supply was rebuilt with most of the parts replaced. The small power light in front was replaced with an led. Other than 4 electrolytic capacitors, the preamp section is all original. The wood case is in great condition but does have a few small marks on it. If you are unfamiliar with these, SAE designed them to have reduced power on at all times when the unit is plugged in, and full power with the power button pushed in. One minor issue is that a couple of the RCA plugs are just a tiny bit too small. Good quality tight fitting cables are highly recommended. All the slider controls were cleaned and work well. Some of the knobs arent perfectly straight though. Will be packed very well and shipped promptly. I also have a matching SAE power amp listed.

I am selling a classic vintage SAE 2900 preamp with parametric equalizers. It has a black anodized front panel that is in excellent shape. Any spots on the front in the pictures are dust. All buttons and sliders are intact. All the sliders move smoothly and produce no noise or static in use. It has 2 phono inputs, a tuner input, aux input, and hookups for 2 tape decks (that can be used for other device input). It has 2 switched AC plugs (to turn on an attached amp) and 2 unswitched AC plugs I ran an SAE 50w per channel amp off the switched port. Please note the power limits of the AC plugs in the picture if you have large amps. SAE was an American audio manufacturer known for its high end products. It worked great for me when I used it many years ago, and has been boxed in a closet for the last 25 to 30 years. I hooked it up to an SAE Amp and some speakers and tested all the inputs, buttons, and sliders, and everything seems to be functioning fine. I am selling it as is, as I cannot guarantee any issues due to age, but the testing I just did seemed to show everything is working. I will pack it well to protect it in shipping. I only ship to the continental US, and will use a ground carrier (probably FedEX). It will probably take a week to arrive unless you are on the west coast. I only ship to the continental US.

Vintage SAE 2800 Parametric Equalizer. I am the original owner of this unit. It was pulled from a working SAE Rack mounted environment. Not sure if the specs are 100%, but working to the best of my knowledge and hearing. Cosmetically in pretty good shape. Light scratches all around from being mounted in a audio rack. Offered. One hard to find SAE model XXVII (27) stereo octave equalizer. This one is in very nice cosmetic condition, with only a few scratches and nicks visible on a corner edge or two. All control surfaces have been cleaned and the unit should be in plug snd play condition.
