Sie wurden für die Kooperationsserie Telewatt entwickelt und von 1967-1969 in Deutschland gebaut.Diese Lautsprecher lassen auch nach heutigen Maßstäben in Klarheit und Durchsichtigkeit keine Wünsche offen. Als Besonderheit soll an dieser Stelle erwähnt werden, dass je ein Elektro-Voice T-35 Druckkammer-Trichter-Horn für Höhendynamik und breite Abstrahlung mit einem 120 Grad Abstrahlwinkel für hohe Linearität und sauberste Klangwiedergabe sorgt. Das Klangbild kann im Mittel- und Hochtonbereich kann durch rückseitige Regler an die Raumakustik und dem persönlichen Geschmack angepasst werden.The Saba IV A is the culmination of loudspeaker development between Klein + Hummel Studiotechnik and Saba. They were developed for the Telewatt co-operation series and built in Germany from 1967 to 1969.Even by todays standards, these loudspeakers leave nothing to be desired in terms of clarity and transparency. The individual speakers are carefully matched to each other. You can still find technical data and descriptions of these speakers on the Internet. As a special feature, it should be mentioned at this point thats Elektro-Voice T-35 pressure chamber cone horns ensures high-frequency dynamics and wide dispersion with a 120 degree dispersion angle for high linearity and the cleanest sound reproduction. The sound pattern in the mid and treble range can be adjusted to the room acoustics and personal taste using the controls on the rear.Die Lautsprecher sind sehr aufwändig und solide innen und außen aufgebaut in Studiomanier bis hin zum resonanzarme Gehäuse in 16mm Wandstärke, das von der Rückwand bis zur extradicken 22mm Schallwand komplett mit Maschinenschrauben in Gewinde mit Unterlegschrauben verschraubt ist. Durch einen extrem hohe Wirkungsgrad sind diese Lautsprecher für Röhrenverstärker mit niedriger Leistung prädestiniert z.B. für Telewatt Röhrenverstärker oder die Röhrensteuergeräte, -receiver von Saba, Telefunken ... Als geschlossene Lautsprecher können diese auch an einer Wand befestigt werden und klingen auch in Wandnähe oder sogar auf einem soliden Sideboard/ Regal etc. phantastisch. Diese Lautsprecherlegenden dominierten in den späten 60er und beginnenden 70er Jahren den Hi-End Markt und waren auch im Studiobereich sehr geschätzt. Bis heute haben diese Lautsprecher nichts von dem klanglichen Potential, und der Magie verloren insbesondere in der Wiedergabe von Stimmen und akustischen Instrumenten. The loudspeakers are very elaborately and solidly constructed inside and out in studio style, right down to the low-resonance enclosure with a wall thickness of 16 mm, which is completely screwed together from the rear panel to the extra-thick 22 mm baffle with machine screws in threads with washers. Due to their extremely high efficiency, these speakers are predestined for tube amplifiers with low power, e.g. for Telewatt tube amplifiers of the Telewatt cooperation or the tube control units and receivers from Saba, Telefunken ... As closed speakers, these can also be mounted on a wall and sound fantastic close to the wall or even on a solid sideboard/shelf etc. These legendary speakers dominated the high-end market in the late 60s and early 70s and were also highly regarded in the studio sector. To this day, these speakers have lost none of their sonic potential and magic, especially in the reproduction of voices and acoustic instruments. Die Lautsprecher sind im Originalzustand und nicht verbastelt. Das Gehäuse und die Bespannung haben stellenweise gut sichtbare Gebrauchsspuren - bitte schauen Sie sich die Fotos genau an. Dadurch, dass das Gehäuse aus Holzfurnier ist, kann es recht einfach nach belieben restauriert werden. Ebenso lässt sich die Bespannung der Schallwand mit etwas Geschick ändern oder entfernen.Die Lautsprecher funktionieren einwandfrei. Sie wurden vor einiger Zeit bei audio-reparatur.de einer messtechnischen Analyse unterzogen. Dabei wurden die Elektrolytkondensatoren und Lastwiderstände erneuert.Solche Lautsprecher sind für Geld und gute Worte kaum noch zu bekommen. Wer welche besitzt, verkauft diese i.d.R. nie mehr und vererbt diese an die nächste Generation. Ich verkaufe nur, weil ich noch ein komplett restauriertes Paar dieser sagenhaften Lautsprecher habe. The speakers are in their original condition and have not been tinkered with. The cabinet and the covering have visible signs of use in places - please take a close look at the photos. As the cabinet is made of wood veneer, it can be easily restored as desired. The baffle covering can also be changed or removed with a little skill.The speakers work perfectly. They were subjected to a tecnical analysis and review at audio-reparatur.de some time ago. The electrolytic capacitors and load resistors were replaced.The speakers are hard to come by. Those who own them usually never sell them and pass them on to the next generation. I am only selling because I still have a completely restored pair of these fabulous speakers.
