Description
SABA Sonorama 11 tube reverb unit - vintage German Hifi if you think Leo Fender invented the tube reverb in his famous Fender Deluxe Reverb Amp - you are wrong! Fender was 1962 with the Vibroverb on the market. This item is 1961 from SABA - Schwarzwald Apparate Bau Anstalt (famous for the Green Cone Fullrange Speakers) not only the Kuckucksuhr come from Western Germany Schwarzwald - also the leading edge in Vintage tube Hifi This unit is taken from a SABA Breisgau 11 Hifi Unit - capacitors changed and it works ! This is a valve amplified spring reverb made in Germany in the 1950s. I believe the spring tank is a Hammond. There is a built in delay mechanism with 2 different times. Reverberator, consisting of amplifier unit, delay unit (2 spirals) and reverberation controller. The device has been functional and is very well preserved. The cabling is completely incl. The Hall control is also connected. The spiral housing is well preserved and without rust. The two ECC-83 tubes show still usable values ??in the test (about 2.6 / 2.5mA) This unit all racked up will give very nice results for a recording studio I changed all the caps and biased the El95 see pictures for the voltages the unit runs I tested the item - wired it into the signal path of my Fender Princeton Reverb Amp works fine the pot knob is not in the fotos and is included. shipping world wide for 45 EUR Happy bidding
