Shure RXT-4 Cartridge w/ Empire A20ME Mount – NO Stylus This listing is for one used Shure RXT-4 cartridge with an Empire A20ME mount. The mount has not been glued on in case you might have a more suitable mount to use. The mount can be trimmed, if necessary, to fit your desired stylus. The original brown top plastic mount for the RXT-4 are well know to become brittle & break apart after time. I see no reason to throw any a perfectly functioning cartridge because of this. There are many different models of Shure styli & after-market “replacements” which will fit this cartridge. The cartridge was “checked” with an Ohmmeter & the results are posted in two of the photos. The readings are close & have a difference of less than 3.0%. Since the cartridge was “checked” with an Ohmmeter & has been visually checked, there are NO returns or refunds. This came from a Realistic Lab 270 turntable that did not work.

Up for auction is this Vintage Pioneer PL-5 Fully Automatic Direct Drive Turntable. With Shure RXT-4 Cartridge and new after-market stylus. Sounds excellent. All working. Good dust cover with a couple of scuffs, but no cracks or broken hinges.Has had the speed control, speed switch and speed pots cleaned with de-ox-id. Not running backwards and some of the other issues Ive seen listed for these.Not Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.Will be packaged securely to not be damaged.

Turntable has been serviced, speeds are steady and solid. All automatic and manual functions work correctly. New high quality RCA cord with ground wire. Original feet in great condition. Original 45 adapter included. Original Technics headshell with a Shure RXT-4 cartridge and genuine Shure 3X stylus in great condition (see pics). This is a very nice Used Realistic Shure RXT-4 Cartridge with a NEW Stylus. I have been asked many questions about this with each one claiming that the issue they are asking about is what usually is wrong with these. The latest concerned the mounting holes. I have added a picture of them and they work fine. This cartridge has been mounted and aligned with no problems and it sounds very nice. It is in good condition with the signs of wear and handling you would expect in a used item that is over 30 years old. It also sounds very nice.
