For your consideration is this genuine 8 poly woofer used across a few models in the 1980s Reference Series of speakers (not to be confused with the 1990s series with the same name, which is not in the same league quality-wise or sound-wise). Removed from a working RS8 speaker. From my limited research, compatible models include the RS4b, RS6b, RS7b, RS8a and RSe. This is the family of speakers with EMIT tweeters and polydome mids. Good cosmetic condition. This one was professionally refoamed a few years ago so the foam is solid. Impedance measures a healthy 4ohms, in line with factory specs. Part number is 902-4976 or 902-4978 (hard to tell). Dustcap is not fully smooth, has a couple dimples as indicated in the pictures. Picture of speaker is for reference only. Rare Infinity RS4b Floorstanding Speakers. What a fantastic pair of speakers these are. The cabinets are beautiful. The sound is amazing,deep bass, lovely midrange.the treble is oh so sweet. I really do enjoy listening to these speakers. The infinities are in very good shape for their age. There is a little damage one of the poly dome midrange units.On the other speaker one bass driver is pushed in but has no impact on sound at all. They sound wonderful.
