Vintage Panasonic Yellow Cassette Recorder RQ-711S Take N Tape Untested unit with lots of surface unit. Interior of battery looked very clean. Takes C-Size UM-2 batteries. No cord. Condition:Untested. General wear and tear to case including many surface scuffs and some residue on the plastic. Could be beautifully restored with just some TLC.

This cassette player is for parts or repair. Tested with batteries. The buttons function and the things spin, play, fast forward, rewind. But, there is no sound coming from the tape, just some light fuzzy sounds when turning the volume knob. AC power not tested. Mic not tested. Record not tested. Monitor not tested. Decent condition overall. Minor scuffs, scratches, corrosion, fading, dirt, and other marks. The battery pull cord is detached but included. The battery terminals were cleaned but still have some corrosion. Foam in the battery compartment is intact but starting to become brittle and disintegrate. Sold AS IS. See pictures.

Yellow Panasonic 1970s Cassette Player Recorder RQ-711S Made In Japan. Needs Repair. Please note that the vintage cassette player/recorder is in clean condition with the exception of a small rough patch near the mic (feels like a bit of glue). The cassette sprockets are not spinning when you hit Play. When it was working, two of the button options had to be held down while using, Fast Forward & Reverse as this is the way it was designed. Player comes with A/C power cord. The 4 C battery connections are clean (batteries were never used). It can possibly be repaired for used for parts. A great movie or stage prop.
