What youre viewing today is a vintage Rotel RX-2000 stereo receiver. It is being sold as is for parts or repair because most of the knobs and switches have a fuzz when adjusted, and the loudness switch for sure has a short in it and requires a bit of a wiggle. On both A and B speakers the left channel has no sound output. You get the fuzz when the knobs are adjusted but no actual sound comes out. Ive wiggled and jiggled the balance knob but no sound happens. I do not have the equipment on hand to test the tape functions. Please see pictures. Rank Audio RX-250A Rotel RX-200A Receiver Serviced Fully Working Free Delivery. Here we have a lovely little Rank Audio receiver, which is a re-badged Rotel RX-200A. The last couple of photos show how clean it is inside and a screenshot of the Rotel to show that they are the same. Its in very good condition for its age, but you might want to refinish the wooden cabinet if you wanted it to look 100%. Its absolutely fully working as it was serviced last year, nothing major just cleaned inside, dial lights replaced with led bulbs and all switches and pots cleaned. A few months later, the stereo lamp went, so that needs replacing. As it takes 5 pin din and 2 pin speaker inputs, Ive included some to get you up and running straight away. The speaker wire is not the best, but you can change that at a later date. I would say that the tuner needs a good aerial, but with a strong signal it sounds great. It has a quad switch on the back, but for that to work, it needs to receive an already decoded signal. All in all a very nice starter receiver to get you into vintage hifi. Will be very well packed and sent with DPD on a 24-hour delivery for free.
