If you do not want use this feature, the Control Cord must be plugged into the Unswitched Outlet on the RLC-900 rear panel.

Rotel stereo power conditioner A great component for stereo protection and convenient sequenced turn-on. Nine grounded outlets with two high current for amplifier duty which have an ON delay to protect speakers from transient noises during start-up/shut down. The additional two prong cord is for remote power on. If not needed, then it should be plugged into the unswitched outlet on the back. This has been a reliable component of mine for over a decade, but in the process of thinning the herd. Id rate it a conservative 7/10. Thanks for looking.
