Very nice sounding Preamp, huge bang for buck. No tone controls, tape outputs. Simple layout and even an mm/mc phono preamp to boot.This one has a small tweak, Socketed Opamps for the output. The stock ad711 Opamps are installed.Cover has some scuffs, top edge of face has some chips.

Rotel Stereo Control Amplifier RC-980BX, or in common parlance, a pre-amp This was a well-regarded unit when it came out. Bang for the buck, plus the supposed British sound. Please google for online reviews. You will see that this unit is worth the money. It may just be the right component for the budget system youre building. In good cosmetic condition. Nice brushed metal. The minimalist look will add to your decor. I last played it in 2017, and I havent listened to it since. I have every reason to believe it is still good, but my current situation doesnt allow me to test it. It has been gently and lovingly used. I am an individual, not a store.
