Offered is a Rotel Six Channel Power Amplifier Model No. RB-976MkII, SN 045-0441052. Includes the power cord. Condition is used. Amp is clean and in fully working condition. Some signs of normal use but nothing to call out. Some scratches on the back top from other items being on top - can be seen in the close up. This belonged to a family member so I know the history, from a smoke free home. Was used in a home theater set up. I pulled the top and it was dusty inside, I used some canned air to blow it out - nothing else has been done. I did use this as a two channel amp for about 8 months after I got it - worked just fine. THIS IS A VERY HEAVY BOX - Shipping weight is 30 pounds. This is has been packed with repurposed angled cardboard/foam pieces. Both front and bottom corners are securely covered with pre formed cardboard/foam inserts. The top front and back corners also covered with foam. Each layer has been wrapped multiple times with plastic wrap to secure the packing - its tight in the box and ready to ship. See last 5 images of the item packed. Note - the power cord and copy of manual is sandwiched between the top layers of foam. This will be fully insured for the sale value - if the unit is damaged in transit the buyer will have the ability to file a claim with the carrier. Nice clean amp, and includes original box. Six channels @ 60w, or can be put in bridged mode to give 3 channels @ 150w. Has been fully tested, and all is working properly including the indicator lamps on the front panel. Cosmetics are excellent and faceplate is nearly perfect. The only issue is some corrosion on the left side as shown. I will double box to protect the original box and to give it extra safety during travel. Photo copy of manual is included. Signature will be required at delivery.

Rotel RB-976 six channel power amplifier. Powers on as seen in the photo, it has been properly stored in a dry indoor location. It looks to be in great cosmetic condition. What I know is Input (A) does not work. static. Inputs (B) and (C) seem to work for now. This thing has serious power 60 watts x 6 channels at 8 ohms. If you select bridged, it pushes 150 watts per channel into 8 ohm. It is also pushes down to 4 ohm. Cosmetically beautiful though. I know this amp needs some caps probably and refurbishment to bring it back to its original glory. It is being sold (AS IS NOT WORKING) NO WARRANTY since it does have issues. Stereo and Mono modes work on all channels. This thing as ridiculous power mono. I was running two of these for a surround system....way overkill...hence I am listing this. This thing in mono for two channel is quite suberb if you need the juice. If you are in the Vintage audio space, then you a very well aware that aging electronics inherently need servicing. As it turns out, they end up better than new as the modern parts such as capacitors, are far superior to decades ago. That said, these units are working, but Ebays policy does not reflect the inherent risk that should be passed along when ownership is exchanged. If you love the hobby, then you know what I mean. Please read my reviews as I am an honest seller. IF the seller cites a return reason that is NOT valid, then the refund will be minus shipping and a 15% service return fee.
