**Please read all the info given in this listing ans study the photos as this also forms part of the listing** Rotel RA 712 amplifier This amplifier is in basic working condition, would strongly recommend a service/check over by a competent person or registered technician. On power up when connected to a pair of loudspeakers the amp makes a thump type of noise that translates through the loudspeakers, it then continues to work fine. This problem could be due to age, after all its a vintage piece of HIFI equipment and im sure some of the components will be now out of spec. On testing it performed well for over 6 hours with no more issues present after the initial thump. Just to be clear this is on a sold as is basis no returns UK postage only, please get in contact before bidding if you are outside the mainland UK(islands and highlands) as the postage cost could be slightly more.
