Rotel RA-960BX amplifier & RT-935AX tuner pair, both working. The phono RIAA preamplifier section is the same as is in the stand alone 970BX phono preamp, which sells on its own for an average of $270, but integrated into this 60 watt per channel premium power amplifier. This is very cost effective and sounds great. With the matching tuner that many time sold with the included integrated amplifier Heck of a deal and the pair tends to sell fast.. (FYI, thats dust not damage on the left side panel of the integrated amps cover. the mark on the right top of the tuners front fascia, is glue from a price sticker it had on it when I had it on consignment in a local audio shop.) To give you an idea... I recently had a conversation with a designer (for a well known audiophile company that shall remain nameless) of $2-30-40K audio gear (amps, CD/SACD players, preamps, phono preamps, etc) and he was well aware of this particular model of Rotel, as Rotel had made it be a serious contender and competition to their $2k-4k-8k etc integrated amplifiers they manufacture/sell. There may be a reduction or return of some of the shipping costs for more local to me Canadians, but for the rest, it is doubtful, as shipping costs have gone through the roof (nearly doubled) and I have to properly protect this gear in a single heavy duty double wall box.
