Vintage Rotel 713 Integrated Amplifier & Monitor Audio R852/MD Speakers in used condition. This is a great sounding vintage system comprising a Rotel 713 Integrated Amplifier and Monitor Audio R852/MD speakers. The Amplifier has the classic VU meters that are a great to watch as they follow the beat of music. This is a big bold sounding amplifier and punches way above its specs. It produces a proper full range sound...no subwoofers needed. Plenty of sound adjustment switches and buttons (bass/treble/balance/loudness/high pass/low pass etc). Speaker MA R852/MD - designed by the Great British speaker designer Robin Marshall founder of Epos speakers and were highly regarded by the HiFi press back in the day. There are marks, scratches, fading and wear and tear consistent with age. Once the system is playing you dont notice and just enjoy the beauty of the music you are hearing. For full disclosure the sounds fades when you switch to a different inpus using the selector switch (not always and only when selecting an input!) . A turn back and forth of the input selector brings the music back. I think the switches and pots may require a clean using deoxit solution, but I have no electronic skills and dare not mess with something I am not familiar with. I have only connected sources to the Aux, Tape and Tuner inputs. Condition of sale: Collection only from Ruislip in West London. No returns for any reason.
