Rotel RA-970BX Stereo Integrated Amplifier. 60 watts RMS into 8 ohms, 90 watts RMS into 4 ohms. Includes original manual and warranty card, and a printout of the technical manual. Originally sold in 1997, Ive owned this since around 2003, and have only used it occasionally to power NHT bookshelf speakers. Selling simply because I havent used it in years, having switched to headphones. The video for this listing demonstrates the basic functionality of the amp. The audio was captured using a Zoom H4n Pro audio recorder and NHT SuperZero XU speakers. All inputs work. Pre-amp outputs (Tape 1 & Tape 2) could not be tested, but I have no reason to believe they dont work. The overall condition is excellent, aside from a few small scuffs on the top (see photos). The only performance flaw I can find is that when switching the TONE control on, if the bass and treble dials are turned up, the left channel will drop out. This issue is demonstrated at the end of the listings video. The only cleaning Ive done is blowing out dust using compressed air and wiping down the exterior with a damp microfiber cloth, so I have no idea if this problem is caused by dust or a bad circuit, potentiometer, or switch. Etwas für den Freund der Nachhaltigkeit und von Vintage HIFI! Heute im Angebot für den ebay Hammer: 1x Rotel Endstufe RB-990BX wie abgebildet. Die Endstufe wurde von mir gereinigt und getestet. Nun ist die viel zitierte Wohnzimmertauglichkeit gegeben,sprich, sie sieht wirklich gut aus, vor allem, wenn man das Alter berücksichtigt. Und klingen und funktionieren tut sie einwandfrei.Ich habe sie hier in meiner Halle seit ca. einer Woche im Test.Mal länger, mal kürzer. Sie arbeitet einwandfrei und klingt sofrisch, daß ich sie am liebsten behalten würde.Aber das macht keinen Sinn, denn es sind schon genügendEndstufen, Monoblöcke, Vollendverstärker und Receiver im Bestand.Und zwar aus allen Epochen und Preislagen. Ich muß schon sagen, die hier angebotene Rotel Endstufe RB-990BXist klanglich wirklich ein feines Teil und schlägt so einige namhafte undsündhaft teure Geräte deutlich. Das hätte ich nicht erwartet, um ehrlich zu sein. Obwohl den Rotel´s ja genau dieser Ruf vorauseilt und der Erfolg wohl auch recht gibt. Also, wer eine gute Endstufe für bezahlbares Geld sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Den optischen Zustand entnehmen sie den Bildern. Ich würde ihn als gut bezeichnen,keine groben Kratzer, keine großen oder tiefen Beulen. Geöffnet wurde die Endstufe nurfür die Reinigung und Kontrolle des Innenlebens. Da braucht sich keiner Sorgen machen,hier wurde nicht aus 5 Geräten eines zusammegebruzzelt. Die Endstufe befindet sich quasi im Originalzustand. Äußerlich gibt es ein paar wirklich kleine Krätzerchen, die habe ich auch fotografiert.Ich würde da einfach mit einem Edding etwas nachtupfen und fertig. Aber das machen Siebitte je nach Gusto einfach selbst. Da ja alle handlen möchten haben Sie die Option einen Preis vorzuschlagen.Ich sage aber gleich dazu, daß wirklich nur sehr wenig Luft nach unten ist, dennder von mir festgelegte SK-Preis ist schon wirklich fair und angemessen für das,was Sie bekommen. Spaßvögel mit oskuren Ideen brauchen erst gar nicht mitmischen,denn auf Unverschämtheiten jedweder Art reagiere ich einfach nicht mehr. Wer eine gute Endstufe sucht und nicht so viel ausgeben möchte, sollte diese einfach kaufenund gut iss. Ideal zwecks Test und Schutz wäre die Selbstabholung.
