Rotel RA-970BX Stereo Integrated Amplifier. 60 watts RMS into 8 ohms, 90 watts RMS into 4 ohms. Includes original manual and warranty card, and a printout of the technical manual. Originally sold in 1997, Ive owned this since around 2003, and have only used it occasionally to power NHT bookshelf speakers. Selling simply because I havent used it in years, having switched to headphones. The video for this listing demonstrates the basic functionality of the amp. The audio was captured using a Zoom H4n Pro audio recorder and NHT SuperZero XU speakers. All inputs work. Pre-amp outputs (Tape 1 & Tape 2) could not be tested, but I have no reason to believe they dont work. The overall condition is excellent, aside from a few small scuffs on the top (see photos). The only performance flaw I can find is that when switching the TONE control on, if the bass and treble dials are turned up, the left channel will drop out. This issue is demonstrated at the end of the listings video. The only cleaning Ive done is blowing out dust using compressed air and wiping down the exterior with a damp microfiber cloth, so I have no idea if this problem is caused by dust or a bad circuit, potentiometer, or switch.
