I purchased these in the 90s and they came with me when I moved to the USA from the UK, and have served me very well. Now its time someone else enjoyed them! The RC-870 Pre Amp has some quality parts - Nichon / Rubycon Black Gates, film caps, ALPS pots and offers four line-level inputs, tuner, cd, two tape loops with dubbing allowed in either direction, and a phono input (MC and MM). Its a fairly neutral preamp in my opinion. The RB-870 Power Amp is a 60 watts/channel stereo amp into 8 Ohms and that doubles the power in mono mode into 8 ohms. It can output to speakers in the 8-16 ohm range. to my ears it is modern sounding, fast and detailed. I took pictures with the covers off so you can see that all the components/ capacitors are in good condition. I will also include the Monster RCA cable I used as an interconnect and the manuals.
