A stunning combination of style and technology the Radius 7 Turntable and NIMA Tonearm delivers the ultimate contemporary vinyl playing experience that takes aesthetic appeal, technical performance and musicality to a new level.The Radius 7’s 20 mm thick acrylic plinths have a glass-like look that is not only visually stunning but contributes towards excellent sonic performance.It uses an advanced motor/PCB assembly with electronic speed selection. The motor and PCB uses Roksan’s flagship technology. This very high-quality crystal speed control system maintains pitch-perfect speed stability for both 33 and 45 RPM irrespective of voltage variations. The Radius 7 can be purchased with or without the latest-generation hand built NIMA tonearm.This is a genuine Summer House Sounds New/Surplus Stock Item. Previously on shelf display, never had a cartridge fitted and was not used for any demonstrations. Has been unboxed and fully tested. Pristine, and everything working as it should be. As far as I know, this item has never been registered for warranty. I cannot guarantee that Roksan would accept it after this period of time but its worth a try. (5 Year Warranty Normally) A warranty can be negotiated via Summer House Sounds if required. Contact me to arrange a demonstration. Roksan says it has redesigned the decoupled motor in the Radius 7 from scratch, while also borrowing speed control technology from the company’s flagship £6,000+ Xerxes turntable. The Nima Tonearm uses a uni-pivot design and has the same internal wiring as the flagship Artemiz tonearm.Combining solid aluminium alloy tubing, a stainless steel alloy and polished acrylic; this remarkable arm is made of no less than ten individual precision-machined components which are then meticulously put together by skilled hands at Roksan.The Roksan Nima tonearm does not have standard internal wiring; so in order to transmit the signal from the cartridge in as higher quality as possible, the same flat-printed, circuit board cable developed for our top-of-the-range Artemiz arm is employed. The unique design of the transit locking mechanism of the bearing assembly not only provides a safe transportation method, but also avoids damage if the arm is accidentally lifted off its bearing. The counterweight is decoupled and designed to mount off-centre thus allowing easy Azimuth correction. Vertical Tracking Angle (VTA) adjustment provides optimum alignment for almost any cartridge. The combination of polished acrylic headshell, silver anodised aluminium tubing and mirror chromed counterweight enhances NIMAs looks and conveys the true lightness and neutrality of this very special arm. The Nima has a brilliantly natural, cohesive sound reproduction and in conjunction with the Radius 5 and a good cartridge such as the Roksan Corus produces a vast panoramic sound with plenty of clarity and punch.
