Both units are machined from solid blocks of aluminium which work as heat sinks plus allow for a seamless design, so no visible screws or seams from the front and sides. All in brilliant condition. The amplifier and CD player have been well looked after so still look amazing and the remote control, for something that is mostly handled, is in near perfect condition with only very very minor marks. I had these connected to my Monitor Audio Silver 6 5G speakers and sounds outstanding, with immense sound clarity and punch!
