Heres a pair of the legendary Rogers LS5 loudspeakers. 8 ohms, 100W, +/-2.5db 65-18Khz. Walnut (I think) cabinets. Age unknown; the date code is written 13R4 on the small mfg QA label in the lower corner of the rear. Mfg is Swisstone Electronics, a business acquisition to continue the manufacture of the speaker line (history and nature of it is on the web) without altering design and quality. Cabinet dimensions: 18 x 8-3/16 x 8-13/16. Driver dimensions: 7-3/16 woofer; 4 tweeter and 1-3/4 port. One unit has a woofer defect. As seen in the photos the dust cap over the voice coil is missing. Also the cone (white-opaque portion) and the surround are no longer bonded by the adhesive. The other unit is good. I bought these 2nd hand years ago and tested the speakers prior to removing the grill and finding the adhesive problem. I used a decent quality power (Carvin) and pre amplifier (Phillips). Source was a CD. I listened at mid and high volume. I did not hear any cone rattling or distortion. Since the surround has not deteriorated and the cone is good you may be able to repair it. The cabinet finish is good overall. There are small scratches and discolorations as seen in the photos. Slight damage on one corner (photo). Another corner has a small bit of damage near it. As seen, unfortunately the former owner installed rubber bumpers on one side of each unit. One has 4 intact, the other has two. Some bumpers slipped aside what I assume is an adhesive pad. Theres no grill defects. This is a heavy shipment but will be well packed for a safe trip.

KEF CRESTA MK2 Im selling 1969 vintage KEF Cresta loudspeakersPrototype ls 3/5a -- Columns on the superb T27 and B110 drivers - the same as in the iconic ls 3/5a.The ls 3/5a used slightly smaller boxes and a more complex crossover.Columns in good technical condition, drivers without damage. The grilles are included (the frames need to be refurbished as they are fading and fine dust is falling off). Cases - condition as in the photos - no dings or losses.Exactly this model played a few years ago at the Audio Show Poland - Warsaw in the Sulek Audio room.I recommend - BBC sound for relatively little money!!!

A pair of Rogers LS3/5A 15 Ohm monitor speakers. 25 watts. Low serial numbers- 657 / 658 1 owner had them from new. Good used condition. A few very minor scuffs/scratches. See photos for condition they are in perfect full working order and do sound good. They are sadly missing one Badge and 2 little binding post plastic. Rogers LS3/5a speakers, original 15ohm, matched pair,16060 serial number, black. I have owned these speakers from new and they are in very good condition, but they have been used for quite a while so they do have a few very small cosmetic marks that I have tried to show in the photos - but those marks are small. The cabinets do have some marks on the base though from where they have been sitting on spikes on my stands. I only saw these when I took the photos for this sale, they do not show when in use. The speakers are entirely original, I have never even taken the fronts off. I have original Rogers packaging so could send by courier but would far sooner they were collected so they could be auditioned.
